Why workout with kettlebells

This first class I went to learn how to swing a kettlebell was free. I was already spending a lot on my fitness routines and was happy to find one for free. I was hooked after my first class. I really liked at the time cardio type workouts, but was told I needed to do some type of strength training. So I was extremely happy when I realized that this class incorporated both cardio and strength training. So when I was told if I wanted to learn more than the basics that it would be an extra monthly fee. I was ready to sign-up, and eventually dropped some of my other activities.

So I added kettlebells to my exercise routine in my passage to lose weight. I was amazed at how much faster my weight was coming off. I had been struggling to lose and had some added stress in my life. Working with kettlebells helped me with both.

I have now been using the kettlebells for about two and half years. The following is a list of why I will never stop using kettlebells:

I have lost a total of 120 pounds.

I no longer need a inhaler for asthma.

I am stronger than I ever have been - even in my 20's.

I got certified as an HKC.

Someone asked me if I had a tummy tuck, since my abs looked so good to them and they knew I had lost a lot of weight - and I have not had any surgeries to tuck anything!

When I changed my term life insurance to full life insurance, I had to have a new physical as the one done before was over 19 years old. My test came back at the highest rating possible, so they gave me $30,000 more in coverage. Woot! Woot!
